MindGuru Terms of Use for Client / User

• MindGuru does not charge any registration fee from User/ Client for registering in the online platform but service charge is to be paid by the Client for service. The payment will be done through online. Fees may vary depending upon the Counselor chosen and time duration.
• User can create account with username, password and other details and access the account when service required. User is solely responsible for all activities that occur under his account. If user suspects unauthorized access to his account, he may contact immediately Customer Support and rectify the same. MindGuru reserves right to terminate any user's account and reserves the right to block, delete or stop the uploading of materials and communications, if found any illegal/harmful actions.
• MindGuru or Counselors may ask for any personal data or other credentials, client is obliged to give such data. This data will not share to any third party or others under any circumstances and MindGuru will ensure all the confidentiality required for the clients.
• MindGuru provides some packages as offers/discounts for the convenience of the client and counselors, which will displayed in the platform.
• Users are encouraged to ask questions and comments, by any modes of communications like whatsapp messages, emailing or directly entering in the Website. User can contact Customer Support by email at info@mindgurulive.com or +91 7306 69 66 00.
• While every care has been taken to provide reliable service to user/clients, MindGuru online platform does not warrant any accuracy. Users are responsible for which they choose the service. Users should keep proper etiquette with Counselor and duration of consultation is at the discretion of Counselor. MindGuru encourages healthy relationship between User/Client and Counselor. Clients can change the counselor for upcoming sessions, if give valid and genuine reasons for such a request.
• Registered Users and Visitors can access MindGuru online contents like Blogs, Articles and other information, also users can upload their materials which will be informative to the visitors. Materials with copy right or privacy should not be uploaded and users will be solely responsible for all the materials uploading in the platform.
• Each session will be for duration of maximum 45 minutes, thereafter the connection will be automatically break. So clients are requested to make sure not to delay consultation than allotted starting time.
• MindGuru is not licensed to practice medicine and does not render medical care or medical advice. MindGuru does not recommend or endorse any specific providers, tests, medications, products or procedures. All services or recommendations made by a Counselor are based on their independent professional judgment.
• Those who with severe psychopathology and / or suicidal risk are not suitable for online sessions. User agrees that the Services provided by MindGuru are not to be used in the case of emergencies. In case of any mental health emergency or any other medical emergency it is strongly recommended that user should immediately visit the nearest medical facility for examination in person.
• Online psychotherapy sessions are to be conducted only on appointment basis, as emergency services do not fall within its purview. Users/persons are not permitted to record the conversations partially or fully in the sessions. Such conversations or advices depend upon the particular situations or nature of the individual. MindGuru will take strict actions against to those persons who recorded or shared such conversations to anyone or to any social media.
• User can view the fee to be charged when selecting a Counselor. User will have to make payment through online after booking time slot, and wait for a confirmation call or message
• While MindGuru ensures best service for its users, Client/ User may understand the nature of the profession, and therefore there may be exceptions such as personal or any other emergencies. In such instances, on discretion, rescheduling of consultation to be made by the Counselor by communicating with provider.
• Clients should use a password protected secure internet connection for security concerns with the use of public WiFi. There is also a possibility of unintended breaches of security in technology breaches despite these safeguards, for which MindGuru will not be responsible.
• MindGuru have the right to revise timing of the sessions for the clients and the new timing will be fixed only after the consent of the client and counselor, for any inconvenience in the form of technical issues, counselors inconvenience or others.
• Clients should not attempt to call or try to trace personal contact details of counselors like personal mobile number and other personal social media platforms, if found so and reported by counselor MindGuru can take legal actions against them.
• The Client can reschedule the appointment with a 10 % service charge of payment. The Client should inform at least 6 hours earlier in the Website for reschedule. If the consultation is not done in the booked time slot due to practitioner’s emergency, then the allotted time slot will move to another slot which will be convenient to both Counselor and Client. Also the client can advance the booking to an earlier time. Service charges may be applicable for such an advancement. The abroad clients (outside India) should pay an additional 20 percent amount with the counselor fees displaying in our website.
• Clients should choose proper stable network for online sessions .If any break/unclear voice in the network happen due to any technical issues for more than 10 minutes from our side , the client will not lose the duration. The time slot may be varied according to the loss of time in the current session or upcoming sessions.
• The date/time/frequency/potential duration of sessions will be discussed in advance and will be decided and conveyed to the client by the counselor.
• The time spend with the family members or revelent others to discuss regarding clients condition or information gatherings with consent of client will be also count in the duration time of session.
• With the consent of client, the sessions can be recorded if the data are using for a future research.
• Please note that any instances of harassment or infringement upon the rights of our psychologists during sessions will result in the immediate cessation of the session. We reserve the right to take appropriate action to maintain a professional and respectful environment. Refunds will not be issued in such circumstances.
• Feedbacks and ratings will be taken from both the parties for future studies and quality assurances. The person who reviewed for the session will be published in the website with nickname for keeping the confidentiality.
• MindGuru reserves intellectual property rights. All of the content available on or through MindGuru is the property of MINDGURU ONLINE SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED, and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property laws. We give you permission to display, download, store and print the content only for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to reproduce, retransmit, distribute, disseminate, sell, publish, broadcast, or circulate the content received using the MindGuru online service.
• If you are thinking about suicide or if you are considering taking actions that may cause harm to you or to others or if you feel that or any other person may be in any danger or if you have any medical emergency, you must immediately call/visit the relevant authorities. You acknowledge, confirm and agree that the platform is not designed for use in any of the aforementioned cases and that you must not use the platform in any of the aforementioned cases.
• All the users who are below 13 years can only register with the permission of their parent/guardian. Parents/guardians must read the terms and conditions and agree for using our website.
• Any dispute, claim or controversy arising related to this agreement or terms of use shall be determined by arbitration in India, before a sole arbitrator appointed by Courts at Kerala (Calicut) shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in relation to this Agreement.
